Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
My primary responsibility is to support the Aquatic Invasive Species research team. Recently, my work has focused on the development of chemical fishery management tools for controlling nuisance species. Research includes development of new oral delivery methods for targeting filter feeding aquatic invasive species such as Asian carps and zebra mussels. I also support the UMESC fish culturing facility and invasive species holding complex. On a daily basis, you may find me constructing and maintaining culture or exposure systems, performing water quality assays, assisting in the rearing of fish, or analyzing samples for a study.
