Primary Activities:

• Develop novel techniques, tools and strategies to improve and promote the health and survival of aquatic organisms for conservation, restoration and public fisheries.
• Provide approaches to contain, reduce and eliminate invasive species.
• Restore habitats and native species.
• Develop and test new approaches to control invasive species with emphasis on biological, chemical, ecological, genetic and molecular methods.

Research Interests:

• Aquatic species biology
• Invasive species control
• Conservation aquaculture development

Active Projects:

• Intestinal physiology of planktivorous fishes
