Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
Mr. Suarez conducts research on the use of large-scale radar and other technology to study migratory patterns and stopover habitat use of migrating birds to support conservation and management. He also provides technical assistance in the areas of remote sensing, computation, and geostatistics.

• Using NEXRAD Weather Radar to Minimize the Impact of Wind Energy Farms on Migratory Birds (Avian Conservation Ecology)
• Translating regional population goals for bird species of concern into local habitat conservation objectives (Avian Conservation Ecology)
