2001 B.S., Biology, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse

Primary Activities:

• Aerial Photointerpretation for:
• Long Term Resources Monitoring Program (LTRMP) of the Mississippi River
• Vegetation mapping for various National Wildlife Refuges, National Park Service, and other partners

• Field reconnaissance and plant identification to classify plant communities and invasive species
• Automated bird counts of river photography to document numbers and distribution of Tundra Swans
• Process raw Lidar data (LAS) into usable products (DEMs, DSMs, contours, and hillshades)

Research Interests:

• Vegetation Mapping
• Light Detection & Ranging (LiDAR)
• Geographic Information System (GIS) Technology

Active Projects:

• Vegetation Mapping – Upper Mississippi River System (LTRMP)
• LiDAR Processing – Upper Mississippi River System (LTRMP)
