Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
- Image processing of digital aerial photography and creation of stereo models and mosaics
- GIS/cartographic support to vegetation mapping team, other UMESC scientists and other DOI partners
Research Interests:
- Use of 3D stereo models for vegetation mapping
- Applications of digital aerial photography for use by National Wildlife Refuges, National Park Service, and other partners
Active Projects:
- Appalachian National Scenic Trail (APPA) vegetation mapping
- Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CUVA) vegetation mapping
- Upper Mississippi River System (LTRMP) vegetation mapping
