The unusual conditions for each reach/episode/stratum depicted in the table were determined by comparing precision-adjusted annual estimates to the mean. Those estimates that were three standard deviations smaller and larger than the mean were "low" and "high," respectively; estimates that were five standard deviations smaller and larger than the mean were "very low" and "very high", respectively.
