Understanding Agriculture's Effects on Amphibians and Reptiles in a Changing World

Abstract Information

Note:  If appropriate, please consider presenting any work you have done that addresses these questions.

Presentation specifics:  Oral presentation will be 15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions. Posters can be up to 112 cm x 112 cm.

We do not plan to run concurrent sessions. Thus, we have a limited number of slots available for oral presentations. We will be able to accommodate more poster presentations, which will occur during the first evening in conjunction with the mixer.

How to submit:  Attach your formatted abstract to an email and submit it via the link at the bottom of this page.

Note:  Please adhere precisely to the following formatting requirements.

Language:  English

Format:  Microsoft Word file only.  If you cannot submit a Word file, please explain why in your submittal email.

Font type:  Times New Roman

Font size:  12 point

Page margins:  2.54 cm (top, bottom, left, right)

Please provide the following information on a separate Information page in your attached Word file:

  • Author to contact

  • Institution

  • Mailing Address

  • Phone

  • E-mail address

  • Name of the person who will present

  • Preference for an oral or poster presentation

Please provide the following information on a separate Abstract page in your attached Word file:

  • Abstract title (Limit the title to 180 characters.  Capitalize the first word of the title only, except for proper nouns.  Italicize species names.  Make common names lower case.)

  • Authors (First name, middle initial, last name.  Add an asterisk immediately after the presenter's last name.)
    • Example:  Jane Q. Presenter*, John Q. Contributor, etc.

  • Affiliations (Please state the institution and full address for each author.  Place the appropriate initials of all abstract authors affiliated with each institution in parentheses at the end of each address.)
    • Example:  ..., Sao Paulo, Brazil 01156-001 (JQP), ..., Eugene, Oregon 97401 (EQC), etc.

  • Abstract (300 words maximum) Only abstracts that provide clear overviews of the work to be presented, including answers to the questions: what, why, where, how, and to what end will receive serious consideration.

  • Keywords (three words maximum that are not contained in the abstract title)
